Barney Angliss is a consultant, trainer, writer and researcher in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) with 25 years’ experience.  As his Twitter handle and the project name imply, Barney was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome as an adult.

 

Barney has been a mainstream SEND Co-ordinator, Deputy Head in a Unit for excluded pupils and Local Authority SEND manager. He’s a programme board member at the Council for Disabled Children and a member of the Whole-School SEND consortium.

 

Barney has spoken at The Telegraph Festival of Education, the South-East Strategic Leadership and The University of Birmingham's Transforming Autism Education (TAE) conference.
